Pairing powertap wireless CPU with ANT+ wireless devices and learning hub ID
We have been asked this question a few times so this may be useful for various people who find this page.
When you use a new Powertap hub and CPU combination or change heart rate strap or add in speed and cadence sensors you need to pair them with your Powertap CPU. Below are some brief instructions to do this and a link to a video from Saris.
Hold down Hold and Select buttons (the two buttons at the bottom) until Setup appears
- Press Select button until no 5 flashes at bottom
- Press Mode button until hub top of the display and “learn” at the bottom
- Hold Select until “learn” begins to flash
- Keep pressing Mode until it exits the various learning functions
